The hilt and scabbard of this all-steel persian Khanjar are both carved in deep relief with a floral and bird motif. The pommel bears a classic Qajar hunting scene. The blade is wootz and has a raised central rib. Both sides of the 10.5" blade are decorated with a chiseled hunting scene at the forte, 18" overall. Very good condition. The scabbard interior wood is a recent replacement.
