This large steel example is chiseled in deep relief and lavishly inlaid with gold. It has a rolled rim and scalloped arrow-catcher. The four large bosses are also chiseled and decorated with gold. The center medallion depicts a temple housing four deity surrounded by four panels with hunting scenes. Eight panels depicting hunting scenes, nobles and demigods decorate the area between the medallion and the rim. These are speerated by eight more smaller panels wiith a single flower blossom, all part of a larger chiseled floral motif that is the background for the outer portion of the exterior. The interior still has the original hand cusion. 18" diameter. Very good condition. Minor loss to the inlay.
